FAQ

Do I need a reservation, or can I walk in?

A reservation is not required, but tables fill up quickly during dinner service and on weekends. Walk-ins may have to wait, so we recommend booking ahead.

What are your service hours and which days are you closed?

The Olive Tree Restaurant is open from 1 April to 31 October, during the same season as our hotel, and is closed in winter. Daily service hours during the season are listed in the site footer and on the Location page. Please contact us for information about any special closures or current arrangements.

Can I sit indoors or on the terrace, and what happens in bad weather?

We welcome guests in our indoor dining area and on our open-air terrace. You can state your seating preference when booking. Terrace availability may change in adverse weather; please contact us to discuss suitable seating options.

Do you have vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options?

Yes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items are tagged directly on the menu cards. If you have an allergy, note it on your reservation and the kitchen will prepare accordingly.

Is there parking, and is it paid?

We have free parking reserved for guests, with valet service on busy evenings. Details are on the Location page.

Do you accept children?

Our restaurant is an adults-only venue. We welcome guests aged 14 and over; we are unable to take bookings for, or seat, children under 14. Thank you for your understanding.

Do you arrange birthdays, anniversaries and similar celebrations?

Yes. Just select the occasion field on the booking form. If you would like a cake, table decoration or a special presentation, add a note and we will plan it together when we call you back.

Is there anything special for guests staying at your hotel?

Guests staying at our hotel, which shares the same garden, use our breakfast service and have priority for dinner reservations. Details are on the Our Hotel page.
